Sorry, but Sterek is nothing compared to Destiel, in so many ways and on so many different levels. I’ve seen all the seasons of TW so far…

Yes, because obviously Destiel shippers have never kicked up a fuss either. Let’s dislike Sterek fans because they’re loyal and more than a little crazy. Which isn’t the definition of being a fandom/fangirl/fanboy or anything. 

Geez, you saw all the seasons of TW and ended up shipping Jackson/Derek? OMG this explains everything! No… This explains nothing at all, it’s not an example of anything except your personal preference for Jackson/Derek over Stiles/Derek, like quite a few other people. That’s like saying, “Oh I watched all the seasons of Supernatural and ended up shipping Dean/Impala, so that should give you some idea.” No, it doesn’t give us an idea at all. That’s a non-reason presented as a reason for discrediting Sterek.

And you know the real kicker? Sterek already has been discredited. Actually it doesn’t have any credit at all, it never had for the simple reason it’s not canon. The exact same for Destiel. Or Wincest. Or Jackson/Derek. 

You think the fuss is crazy which is why you’ve backed out of ever giving Sterek a chance? Well first of, if you don’t like Sterek don’t read Sterek and don’t give it a chance. It’s that simple, it does not require any further thought. I’m sure the Sterek shippers will survive you not liking Sterek. But moving on, have you perhaps considered the fuss is coming from both sides? SPN and TW? Because in my opinion both are equally crazy. The Sterek fandom’s fanatic because, let’s face it, they might have a chance to become canon. The Destiel fandom’s fanatic because they’ve had like 4 years of build up between their two characters. 

Admittedly, it seems the Sterek fandom’s been louder of the past few months. It might have something to do with SPN being on hiatus while TW airs episode. But then let’s not forget the Sabriel/Destiel shipping war a while back. Or that really vindictive bout between Wincest and Destiel. Of course, there’s never a day Wincest and Destiel aren’t at each other’s throats. 

So your argument that “The fuss IS crazy — and that’s one of the reasons I’ve backed off of even being marginally interested in Sterek: the fans are fucking retarded crazy.” is completely and utterly invalid because Destiel or SPN in general are equally fucking retarded crazy. Fucking retarded crazy seems like the default mood of many, many, many people in many, many, many fandoms. You may have noticed.

A fandom harassed their show runner? Or an actor. Yeah, that’s never happened in the SPN fandom before. Yeah, SPN’s always gotten along great with all their actors and all their show runners and all the actor’s families. There’s never been any controversy or negative comments. Yeah, going from this SPN’s fandom are complete darlings every day, all the time!

I’ll try to stem this raging river of tears flowing down my cheeks and onto my Sterek 4EVAH shirt, because they might lose some dumb poll. Yeah. Entitled little shits. No more entitled than any other fandom, you giant ass. The reasons you’ve given for dislike Sterek and Sterek fans are the exact same reason why you should also dislike Destiel and SPN. 

What I don’t understand about you, is that you apparently need these reasons to justify being an asshole about it. If you don’t like Sterek, that’s fine. Then you don’t like Sterek. Who cares? Who cares that I ship or not ship Sterek? Who cares that you ship Jackson/Derek? There’s no need to give reasons for your dislike. I don’t like mint, that doesn’t mean I need to give a 5 page essay about the reasons why I don’t like mint and why I’m not willing to give it a try. And It’s also no reason to dislike everyone who does like mint. If they like mint, that’s fine, then they can eat as much mint as they like and there is absolutely no good reason for me to make an issue out of this.

And you know what? Finally, “Yeah, I’m trash talking.  I dun even curr.” that’s great, man. Behave like an asshole and a child. Don’t care that you’re insulting people and their likes just because you don’t like it. That’s acting like a toddler and breaking down the tower the other toddler sitting right next to you built. Be proud. I’m sure someone like Misha, who’s apparently someone you admire, and who’s also probably one of the nicest people on the planet, would approve. Keep up the good work, man.
